Pick-Ups

• Pick-ups with camper shells can be treated the same as non- “hatch backed” SUV’s.

There is an Astrolift specially designed for a covered pick-up bed. The “outer base” of the Astrolift is bolted through the floor at the rear of the bed to the frame of the pick-up. The “inner base’ is hinged to the “outer base” and is designed to lie flat when the bed cover is in the closed position. Once the lid is opened it is designed to fold up and locks into the vertical position so the telescope can be elevated out of the bed of the pick-up for video or conventional astrophotography.

Customized Astrolifts

There are “Three Screw” and “Four Screw” heavy duty customized Astrolifts available for fork mounted SCT with mirrors larger than 14 inches.
